Connecticut Civic Learning Coalition

Elevating civic education and engagement across the Constitution State

The Connecticut Civic Learning Coalition is a nonpartisan group that elevates civic education and engagement as a state priority and promotes meaningful, bipartisan policy. Coalition members—both organizations and individuals—work to equip students and educators with the information, skills, tools, and experiences necessary to engage in government and civic life. We believe that early, meaningful, and authentic civic education lays the groundwork for an informed, responsible, and engaged Connecticut. As the United States commemorates the 250th anniversary of its founding, the Coalition is creating a unified movement to activate, elevate, and advocate for civics.

The Coalition is led by The Connecticut Democracy Center, the state affiliate of iCivics’ CivxNow coalition.
